Stara Varoš has operated since 1992 and carries out purchasing and recycling of secondary raw materials in three towns: Topola (registered office), Smederevska Palanka and Čačak. The company states that it is in Čačak, alongside purchasing and recycling, that various aluminium alloys are cast – the other locations are limited to collection and mechanical processing. The announced capacity of 15,000 t of castings per year and the 24,000 m² hall relate to the iron and steel foundry in Topola, not to the aluminium part, so the “capacity” field is left blank. The group declares deliveries of around 2,000 t of prepared material per month to industrial customers. The branches in Čačak and Smederevska Palanka were opened in 2008.
