ALUSAK was established in 2006 as a subsidiary of the SAKER group from Kroměříž and is the largest documented Czech producer of secondary aluminium alloys from scrap. In 2006 the plant melted approximately 200 t per month in crucible furnaces; in 2008 it switched to rotary furnaces with oxy-gas burners and filtration systems, which made it possible to reach 3,000 t per month and 36 kt per year in 2017. The feed is prepared by the parent company SAKER, which operates four non-ferrous metal processing plants in Czechia and Slovakia and reports consolidated turnover in the order of EUR 100 million. Plant address: Na Sádkách 3572, 767 01 Kroměříž; employment approximately 71 people.
