Products: Rolled aluminium foil · Further worked aluminium foil · Backed aluminium foil
One of the largest European converters of aluminium foil; the website and product profile were confirmed at cflex.com. The company runs a programme of products redesigned for recycling called Ecolutions and publicly raises the question of low-carbon aluminium as a tool for reducing Scope 3 emissions. It does not state secondary material content in the product – which is typical of laminates, in which thin aluminium foil requires high-purity feedstock that is hard to obtain from post-consumer scrap. This shows the asymmetry of the packaging segment: the can closes the loop, the laminate does not.
