- Note: The plant in the Eselborn-Lenzweiler industrial zone in the Clervaux municipality is Hydro's largest aluminium remelter in Europe, with a capacity of 115 kt per year. It processes post-production and post-consumer scrap – chiefly profile scrap and aluminium joinery from dismantling – into extrusion billets. In summer 2021 a new casting furnace was installed, which increased post-consumer scrap processing capacity. In 2022 the plant produced the first commercial batches of Hydro CIRCAL 100R (130 t) – a product made 100% from post-consumer scrap, with a carbon footprint close to zero. It employs 64 people; revenue in 2025 was NOK 1,730 million.
