## Plants

### Johann Henkenjohann GmbH & Co. KG (Verl, Germany)

- Link: building and architectural systems
- Status: operating
- Metals: aluminium
- Coordinates: 51.881, 8.516
- Source [C]: Company website (heroal.de) – https://www.heroal.de/
- Note: Family company from Westphalia, supplier of aluminium systems with its own high-throughput powder coating shop. The portfolio includes roller shutters and sun shading, in which aluminium competes directly with plastics. The company communicates the recyclability of aluminium and runs an energy efficiency programme for the plant, but does not state the secondary material content of its profiles. Demand for sun shading grew in 2022–2026 with heatwaves, partly offsetting the decline in residential construction.
