- Note: Greek manufacturer of cables and conductors belonging to the Cenergy Holdings group within the Viohalco concern, the same one that owns the ElvalHalcor rolling mill. The plants in Thiva and Corinth draw aluminium and copper wires and produce overhead conductors and power cables, including submarine ones. It is an example of a chain closed within a single corporate group: from alumina and metal to the cable product. The Cenergy group's cable plant in Boeotia, producing power cables and overhead conductors. Viohalco is an exceptional case in Europe: it combines the ElvalHalcor aluminium rolling mill and extrusion plant with cable plants, which gives an internal metal loop within a single holding. Aluminium in medium-voltage cables replaces copper, which the same group also produces – the tension between the two product lines is built into the ownership structure. The company does not publish the secondary material content of its cables.
