- Note: The foil rolling mill in Dudelange, commissioned in 1984, has four continuous casters which, as the company states, allow process and post-production scrap from its own rolling mill to be returned and ensure self-sufficiency in feed strip for all the plant's foil products. It is therefore closed-loop remelting of post-production scrap, not purchasing of post-consumer scrap from the market. The mill of 1,625 mm width produces converter foil from 5.5 microns, household foil in jumbo coils, and industrial finstock for packaging, insulation and heat exchangers. The group's R&D centre is located in Belvaux. Remelting capacity, the volume of scrap charge and the share of post-consumer scrap are not announced. Change of ownership: in December 2025 Wanshun New Materials announced the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Eurofoil Luxembourg, and in April 2026 completion of the transaction was reported. The plant is the headquarters of the Eurofoil group and rolls foil on mills with strip width up to 1625 mm, down to 5.5 µm. The foil feed is prepared on site on four continuous casting lines, which allows own scrap to be returned and makes the plant independent of purchasing feed strip; the company does not state the share of external scrap. Its customers are manufacturers of flexible packaging, food, pharmaceutical and aseptic products, and producers of insulation and tubes. The plant holds ISO 14001, ISO 50001 and ASI Performance Standard certificates. In December 2025 Wanshun New Materials (Shantou Wanshun) announced the purchase of 100% of the shares of Eurofoil Luxembourg from Aluminium Investment Company Ltd. for EUR 12.39 million; the transaction was completed in 2026 and this group is today the owner, not ARP. The Dudelange plant together with the research centre in Belvaux; the ownership structure was confirmed on the website – the owner is the Chinese group Shantou Wanshun New Material Group. Thin foil places the most stringent charge purity requirements in the whole aluminium industry, which structurally limits the share of post-consumer scrap. The company does not announce the percentage of secondary material content.
