- Note: The Galva 5 hot-dip steel strip galvanising line with repair lines and a water treatment plant, until 2025 owned by Liberty Galati – Belgian Branch. After that company’s bankruptcy the trustees accepted on 22.04.2025 ArcelorMittal Belgium’s offer to take over all installations in Flémalle; the takeover took place in July 2025. The line was restarted in May 2026 after four years of standstill, and on 1.10.2026 it was officially opened; it is operated by nearly 70 employees. Product – hot-dip galvanised sheet of greater thicknesses (feedstock up to 6.35 mm thick and 1880 mm wide), including for road safety infrastructure and HVAC installations.
